For Researchers
Revelstoke Museum & Archives has an extensive archives and reference library. Staff are available to help with your on-site research requests, including family history, academic research, and general inquiries. Access to the archives is free, but there are charges for photocopies and photo reproductions, and donations are always gratefully accepted. Staff will make all efforts to answer information requests received by letter, phone, or email, but cannot provide extensive research services. Fees will apply for research done by staff. For optimum service, contact us prior to your visit.

Revelstoke newspapers from 1890 to the present date. (Digitized up to 1964.)
Canadian Pacific Railway records from Revelstoke Division including accident reports and some personnel files. (Some access restrictions apply.)
Clipping files by name and subject.
Library of regional history books.
Revelstoke Mining Division records 1895 to 1955.
Community organization records, including Revelstoke Ski Club, Hospital Society, and many others.
Maps from the region, including the Columbia River atlas, 1940s.
10,000+ photographs, indexed by subject and names where available.
Regional phone books.
High school annuals.

Permission of Use
Revelstoke Museum and Archives is a non-government, non-profit organization and user fees help to sustain our collections and programs. User fees are charged in addition to reproduction costs.
Different fees apply for commercial and institutional usage.
Image Reproduction
Reproductions can be requested for personal or commercial use, with more than 10,000 images available. Images can be ordered in various sizes or formats. We also have a selection of Heritage Posters available for purchase. Browse the collections on our website, or contact us to access additional images. Permission for use fees will apply for commercial and public use.
