Revelstoke Museum & Archives offers a variety of programs to provide opportunities to learn more about the history of the region, from lunch-hour lectures to walking tours of the historic downtown and the Mountain View Cemetery.

Walking tours

Join curator Cathy English for these informative and fun tours. Social distancing and occupancy limits will be in place. Contact the museum to pre-register or for more information. The one-hour Downtown Heritage Walking Tour will give a snapshot into how the community developed. The Heritage Cemetery Tours give an insight into the lives of some of the pioneers, and include unsolved murders, dramatic name changes, ethnic history, and much more. Brown Bag History

Brown Bag History is a great way to learn more about Revelstoke’s History. The talks run from January to June and from September to December of each year. Grab your lunch bag and join Museum curator Cathy English or a guest speaker for Brown Bag History. This lunch-hour lecture program has been running since 2003.
