Volunteer Opportunities
Garden Volunteers
Our lovely Heritage Garden is maintained by a team of dedicated volunteers. Whether you have lots of time or just a little, feel free to help out. Contact the museum to be connected with the garden committee. Not an experienced gardener? You are still welcome – the committee will guide you and teach you what you need to know.
School Program
The museum has many school visits during the year, and appreciates any support to help with set-up and takedown and to help students at the activity stations during their visits. No experience is needed, but a Vulnerable Sector Check from the RCMP will be required.
Events
The museum runs several events each year, many of them involving serving food and beverages.
Contact the museum to discuss other volunteer opportunities.
